We were tired of renting. We needed a bigger house for our kids, and ultimately, needed a place to call our own for years to come.

I was afraid of a pushy realtor, someone that just pushed every house on us. Also, I was nervous about someone who didn't help find properties we were looking for or that met our needs. At first, I didn't know if I could trust a realtor. Suzanne was my first and only realtor.

What surprised you? What was difficult? Describe the process...

The biggest surprise in the buying process was how fast houses went under contract. The most difficult part of the process was the limited inventory, houses getting multiple offers and going under contract within days of being on the market, and the bidding wars!

What advice would you have for future clients? Were there any unique qualities about me or the transaction that stood out to you?

My advice would be to pick a realtor that you know or that is recommended by people you know. You have to be able to trust your realtor and trust they are giving you the best advice and guidance.
